A Little Background
We design and build custom one-of-a-kind Rustic and Log Furniture. We are a small
Christian family woodworking company. All furniture is made from Real Wood only.
Lori comes up with the concepts and Randy designs and builds each creation, including
all sanding and finishing, then Lori handles the packaging and shipping.
Most of our furniture is made from Northern White Cedar, Aromatic Red Cedar,
Eastern White Pine, and Southern Cypress. Our goal is to showcase one of God's
most precious creation: trees. We will only apply finishes that allow the natural grain of
the wood to be shown. And naturally, all of our furniture is made from Real Wood.
Everything is made from real Logs and Solid Wood, no veneers or particle board.
We like Cedar and Cypress especially for two very favorable characteristics:
1. Lighter Weight.
2. Naturally impervious to insects.
We design and handcraft every piece of rustic furniture in our own shop. We build our
furniture with the anticipation of each piece eventually becoming a family heirloom and
an antique. In fact, the biggest problem Randy has - is getting Lori to give up each new
creation. She wants to keep everything we build!
We've been doing this since 1989, but just recently decided to expand this into a full
time business. Until now, we have been building custom furniture and Antique
Restorations on a contract only basis. We still intend to build custom furniture by
request from our clients, but we will now be creating some new unique pieces of Rustic
and Log Furniture for general sales.
